While some are conversing, others can play a game of pool with the pool table positioned in the middle of the home. Oak Island is minutes away from Historic Southport where you will find plenty of unique shops, antique shops, restaurants, ice cream, history, and more. If you want to take day trips to Myrtle Beach or Wilmington while you are here, they are only a short drive up and down the beach. When you come to "The Ferguson Cottage" you will find yourself wanting to stay another day.
