Long Term Rental Policies
We are glad you have chosen Better Beach Rentals and Sales to assist you in finding the perfect home for you and your family. Below are the steps and qualifications for renting a long-term property with our office.
Contact our office to speak or meet with the long-term property manager to discuss what kind of property you need and specifications of area, price, amenities, size, etc. We will then accompany you to the rentals you qualify for and wish to view.
A rental application will need to be filled out and an application fee of $45 per applicant; paid. The application and screenings will inquire as to the applicant’s employment, rental references, credit and criminal background. Once you have been approved or denied you will be notified right away.
All our rental homes require a security deposit to be paid before moving in, typically the same amount as the rental rate. First months rent and applicable pet fee would need paid before moving in as well. Most rental homes will require tenants to set up all utilities in their name, unless otherwise noted. This will need to be done before keys are issued to move in. Proof of set up/transfer is required from the utility companies.
Rent is due on the 1st of each month. A late fee is added if the rent is not paid in full by the 5th. Payments can be made via check, cash, card, and certified funds.
