The house was just what I wanted. Unfortunately, TS Debby cut it short! Would rent again especially in the off season. We had to leave early due to the storm.

Great property. Only a few items need attention. There are a few middle nails raised on the walkway/pier that need to be nailed back down. The back screen door to house/kitchen has a handle system that easily comes apart/falls off. It dropped on our feet a few times. Is it possible clean up/slightly trim back the weeds/vines/grasses on the sandy path to the beach? It seems more overgrown than it needs to be. We would have appreciated if the home had recycling option instead of trash only. Otherwise we were very pleased with the cleanliness, well stocked kitchen, amenities and welcome bag/items!! Great location, right on the beach. Perfect place for a small family or couple. We enjoyed our stay, and the hot tub was fantastic for our aching joints and muscles after walking out to the kindred spirit mailbox on Sunset Beach. The only improvement we need to comment on is that housekeeping did not send the message that the place was ready, and we waited until 6pm, and still got no message. We drove by the place when we arrived about 4:30, and no one was there. I think housekeeping is forgetting to send the message that they are done. We weren't happy about that. After and 8 hour drive we wanted to be able to get settled in and enjoy the deck and ocean before it got to late. Check in and check out process was easy. The after hours on call person was helpful.
