This gorgeous, oceanfront home with private pool AND private boardwalk to the beach is a fantastic find for the perfect vacation! Located in the quiet "Old Yaupon" area of Oak Island, this home is not only the oasis you've been searching for, it is also located very conveniently close to the old bridge going over to historic Southport, as well as close to lots of shops and dining on the island. You can relax and take in the amazing ocean views from one of the two oceanfront porches, one even has a porch swing! Overall

This vacation home definitely met our needs for our family of 12. Loved how close it was to the beach. One of the main concerns that we had was the tread on the stairs as you open the second gate out to the beach came off, so it made that walk a little bit more difficult because of how you had to step. But other than that no major concerns.

This property was absolutely great for our group. The property itself was a perfect layout and accommodated our family perfectly. It was very well-appointed, clean and comfortable for the whole group. The pool was well maintained and a perfect size to cool off. The walk to the beach is probably about as straight-forward and the easiest walk around the dune to the beach as any place we've ever stayed at Oak Island. It's a great stretch of beach that isn't overly crowded and a nice walk to the pier.

House was great and we have already booked it for next year. The location is perfect for our family and the pool is a definite positive. We have stayed in Serendipity for a number of years and greatly appreciate the upgrades to the bed mattresses. Two areas that need attention are a proper supply of silverware (we had to buy 16 forks and spoons) and it is probably time to upgrade the appliances (priority would be stove, refrigerator, then dishwasher). It is a minor issue but only half of the toaster worked. I certainly would recommend this property to others.
