Atlantic Waves - 7 Bedrooms 6.5 bathrooms newly constructed with unobstructed views of the ocean and an elevated swimming pool (can be heated for an additional fee).  Located next to Southern Comfort another 7 Bedroom 6.5 bath twin home.  What sets this home apart is its location.  There is privacy, it is quiet without the hustle and bustle of traffic going by, and the added enjoyment of the marsh views.  This home features two dishwashers, two refrigerators, two microwaves, two living rooms, and two sets of washers and dryers.  There is a charcoal grill and additional parking for your boat or extra guests, as well as an elevator to all floors.  The island has plenty to offer and things to do.  It has a golf course, mini-golf, arcade, restaurants, ice cream shops, grocery stores, a splash pad for the kids, parks, fishing either onshore or one of our piers, nature trails, multiple beach accesses, inlet access, and Intracoastal Waterway accesses as well.  This home is not far from the new bridge, which allows easy access on and off the island.  You can go and enjoy the shops and dining of close by Southport nestled in where the Cape Fear River, Intracoastal Waterway, and the ocean meet.  The views are breathtaking.  From there you can take a ferry either to beautiful Bald Head Island for a day trip or a ferry to Fort Fisher and visit the aquarium.  The North Carolina Battleship is a favorite destination in nearby Wilmington and Myrtle Beach is just south for even more to do.

This is a lovely house with very convenient beach access. We have booked it for two summers and will probably do so again. We love the kitchen with two of everything and the third refrigerator downstairs. It could use a few more amenities. We had to ask our neighbors for a can opener one night. That seems like a very basic item that should be available. Some of our family flies down from NE. The house provides no beach chairs. Most other places that we have stayed have a least a couple of chairs or beach toys available.

Awesome beach home! We had our family vacation and had the best time. A beautiful view of the ocean with the marsh out front. Great layout for all families, very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Conveniently located on the island to get to the shops and restaurants. We can't wait until next year!
