The house was lovely but we were not fully aware of just how many steps would be involved.. Multiple times a day to the beach plus unloading and moving all our things for the week up. We managed but were grateful we didn't have older relatives along. You may want to let folks know about the construction next door as well. Driving pilings beginning at 8 in the morning was not the best way to enjoy the beautiful deck. That will be going on for quite a while people will want to be informed. The views were wonderful. We loved the porch ( after construction crews left. Maintenance was attentive to our request. Your office people were pleasant and prompt.. we love Oak Island and will return.

We have stayed at Bridgewater for several years and really enjoy the house. We are so sad to see the property going up tight next door, which will destroy the beautiful sunsets as well as the privacy of the home. The house is beginning to show signs of maintenance needs, including rusty outdoor faucets, gate closure deterioration, doors under kitchen sink which do not close properly, and painting of interior walls in halls and living area.We noticed that the pool lights came on automatically each night, which unfortunately attracted baby turtles. We rescued one from the filter.
